meg

I wasn't going to write today but, as I have been blog surfing, I keep hearing meg shouting out in frustration from the kitchen. She is playing a computer game called Busytown-do you remember those books- the ones with the snake wearing a hat? She keeps shouting out "shoot", "shooot", "aarg", "goshhh" and a few screams in between. Anyhow, the house has been super quiet so every time she does it I have to laugh. In case you all were questioning my super mom skills I typed this while nursing the baby-take that!!!!

Our House

Here is an update on the house we are building. The first picture is the foundation walls. We did 9' walls. The second is the basement floor after they poured the concrete. and the last one is the garage floor. So far things are moving at a good pace.

Valentine Dice

So Amber commented that I should tell a story about Roxy-well, here it goes. Todd got some Valentine Dice for me for V-day, mostly as a gag (they were .50 at the grocery store) they have sayings on them for couples to do (kiss, play etc) and where to do it (closet, chair, bed etc). Well, my kids have found them and been playing with them-thankfully none of them can really read! Yesterday, I noticed that Roxy had gotten out her new pottytraining toilet-which she had peed in earlier and I had just quickly rinsed out-and was spitting into it. After a few times I finally stopped her and realized that she had the dice in her mouth was spitting then out in the potty and then doing it over and over. At least she still doesn't drink out of the toilet!
Our house is moving along. today they poured the basement floor. they should be framing next week. does anyone have and opinion about their washer and dryers. I am thinking LG or Maytag. topload or frontload?

Circleville

I will give $100 to anyone who knows where Circleville, Utah is! Its bout 3 hrs away from Pleseant Grove in the middle of NOWHERE! Todd's brother and his family moved there this summer. He teaches seminary at the high school. We went to lay new carpet in their house. I thought I grew up in a small town, I think that there are only about 300 people there. We let all the kids walk to the littlle local store (about the size of a gas station) They thought they were so grown up.

I just finished a great book everyone needs to read. Its called The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Bloom. Its about a family in Holland during WWII who work in the resistance and get sent to the Concentration Camps. I've never read about people who have such a personal relaionship and understanding of the Savior and the Atonement. It was very inspiring.
P.S. I've tired downlaoding pictures 3 different times and keep getting kicked off the internet. So, I don't know when Im going to get pictures on. I knew this would be difficult with dial up, but Im started to feel defeated!!!
