She's ONE

It's hard to believe a year has gone already. Camilla is such a sweetheart and is always the bright spot of my day. She is almost walking, any day now the knees on her pants will heave a sigh of relief. She still has no teeth (none of my kids have gotten them til after 1). Shoes graced her feet for the first time this week, I finally broke down and bought some from Target ( I did get a discount because there was no packaging for them!) I was tired of too many people not minding their own beeswax saying, "that poor babies feet are probably freezing" Well, I have socks on her feet and she very rarely is taken outside HUMPH! she is still super chubby -just wait til you see the picture! Camilla is probably one of the most loved girls in the world. Happy Birthday.
Here is the picture of the new shoes, a little scuffed already.

Of course she didn't have much of a party, but I did take a picture of her eating her cake (the pioneer woman's carrot cake- it was delicious)I told you so-don't we all wish rolls looked that good once we passed childhood?!!!

Potty Training Attempt #5

New Tinker Bell panties are on. Roxy is well past 3 and still not potty trained. I haven't been pushing it because I hate cleaning messy undies. She hasn't been very motivated and when I would ask her about it she's say ," no, I just want to pee in my biaber (diaper)" Yesterday, we were at Target and Meg pointed out the panties and convinced Roxy she was ready to wear them. So, today is the day. I have said this 4 other times and rarely made it through 24 hours before giving up, but I am hoping that this post will give me more incentive to not give up!!

Cortney's photo blog

For those in the family and any of you others interested, here's cortney blog. www.cortneyboicephotography.blogspot.com

facebook

I now have a facebook account, unfortunately, I have no idea what you are suppose to do with it. All I do is keep adding more and more people I know, but that all. Are you suppose to write things on your "wall" or just make comments on others' "walls"? I keep looking on everyone elses but all theirs say is that so and so are now friends with so and so. This new age of the Internet is whizzing right over my head.

top 5

I haven't been posting much lately, having a hard time finding good material. So, I decided to thrill you all with a list of my top moments of the past week
5. getting a babysitter and going to the adult session of stake conference. It's amazing what you learn with no kids to yell at-even with an upset tummy(believe me you don't want to know about it)
4. Meg throwing a fit, locks herself in the spare bedroom(now referred to as "Brooke's room"), and FALLS ASLEEP for about an hour.
3. Spending 4 hours in the temple. 4 hours of Peace and Quiet.
2. BYU finally decisively beating somebody-my nerves can't take it anymore-I'm a frazzled mess on game days.
1. Cooper, too hyper from grandpa babysitting him (refer to #3), trips over his feet and in slow motion (it seemed) his whole body goes crashing onto the dishwasher door that was down waiting for Meg to load it (that took 3 hours of a lot of "coersing"), bending the frame. Yes, it is only a couple months old and already the repair men are coming.
