I'm Still Here

Sorry for all you who have to put up with me again.

This is whats been happening.

The kids have been taking swimming lessons and so poor Tiff has to take all of them to the pool all by herself. They had fun even though the weather was not very good it was the two weeks when it was cold all week and then the weekends were warm. They all passed their levels and so they can now move up to the next level.

This week is Strawberry Days in Pleasant Grove and so on Monday they had free swimming at the Pool. I was out of town and so Tiff once again had to go to the pool all by herself with four kids. I thought that everything would be ok since the kids just had swim lessons and were all good enough to pass thier class. What was I thinking. Tiff was holding Camilla and watching Roxy and Meg play. Then all of the sudden she noticed a crowd starting to gather and so her motherly instincts kicked in and started counting kids. One Camilla holding her, two Roxy bugging Camilla being held by Tiff, three where the "H" is Meg no where to be found. Jump up looking for Meg Push way through crowd watch lifeguard jump in pool to rescue a crazy redheaded girl. How embarrasing. Meg was ok and so I asked her why she didn't doggy paddle to the top she told me she didn't know how.

As for me I have been living at the new house 900 square feet of ceramic tile 700 square feet of hardwood, electrical trimout. It just seems like the list goes on and on. Here are some pics.

Living without the internet

Poor Tiffany is at home with four crazy kids driving her nuts day in and day out and she doesn't have the internet anymore. My brother who lived in the basement moved out and cancelled the internet and so we don't have it anymore. We are trying to figure out what to do because we are only going to live there for a couple more months. Do we get it for two months or can she hold off. Its starting to look like we will cancel our cable and then get the internet. Tiff thinks that since it is summer and all the good shows are not on we might as well.

So i'm sorry to say that I might have to blog a couple of times (since I have nothing else to do at work other than read all of your blogs all day).

Here is an update on the house followed by some pictures. hope you enjoy.
So I can't figure out how to move the pictures (or I am too lazy to keep trying) you have already seen the pictures.

The first picture is the downstairs bathroom I started the tile and so thats what you see. Tiff told me that I better make the tile straight. I told her thats what the grout was for.

The second picture is the front room (Living room) Tiff wanted me to make it look like it had raised panel. It looks really nice.

the last picture is coopers room the poor kid has to live with it being yellow. Unless somebody out there can convince Tiff to make me paint it some other color that is not so girly.

Hope you enjoy.

House stuff

Sean wanted to see more so he can go cry in his pillow tonight, because his house is moving a slugs pace. Here you go-make sure you grab some tissues-who knows when amber will wash the pillowcases!!!

This was a mistake, and I couldn't figure out how to delete it, so I made it very small. Maybe I shouldn't have written so much about it and no one would have noticed it!

this is the pantry(again, this is for sean, most of you won't be interested, its just a pantry)
This is the master closet(more of your ears are perking up now)

by the way that sweet music in the background was the painters choice-yes, they are caulking!

More house

Here is the rest of the upstairs. Not much to see yet. It's going faster than we expected so we are thinking if this keeps up we might be in by late July early August. Wow, I'm running out of time- I've got a ton of things I still need to buy. I'll get some video of the basement in a week or so.

house update

Todd is very busy finishing up the finish work. Unfortunately, that means he will be doing tile and hardwood next-no break. After that he will get a well deserved break while the painter does his thing. The siding on the outside is almost done, then they will be painting that. I have finally decided on a color, Tavern Taupe-yikes what pressure!! Here is a little video of part of the house. More to come later. P.S. We had a great Book Club "meeting" at the Olive Garden last night. Always a night full of laughs(and a few snorts), lots of yummy food, great discussions, and even food in our teeth! Our next book we are reading is The Host, by Stephenie Meyer-I'm so excited to read it!!!

My loot

Today was a great day for garage sales! I ran out of money and had to borrow from cooper's wallet. I hit a great sale that had tons of kids toys-good classic ones in great shape and already in containers. My favorite was a wooden doll house and a box full of wooden furniture! so many cute accessories. I got a ton of picture frames (one of the things on my "list") a nice umbrella stroller and some cute vinyl sticker sayings for only $1. they say "my spirit was born in the courts on high, a child of God, a princess am I" and "in every little boy lies a king." I had never heard those before! I'll be riding my garage sale "high" for the rest of the day. Tune in next week for more treasures.
Yesterday, Meg got her Kindergarten shots!!!! All through the week I tried to prepare her for what it would feel like by giving her pinches. I know that sounds mean but she would ask me " mom what's it going to feel like again?" I told her I wouldn't hurt much more than that. Well, apparently 5 shots in the arm does hurt more than a few pinches. She was very brave and only started crying after the first 2. She asked me not to tell Cooper she cried-he didn't cry through his- but she ended up telling him anyway. I read once that redheads are more sensitive to pain, I'm starting to believe it, she cried and complained all night about her shots hurting. Just a few minutes ago she declared that they didn't hurt anymore. In weight Meg was in the 21% and in height she was 11% Yikes, she's smaller than I thought
